Preparing for New Year's Eve

Well, Luke is finally on the mend. He's still breathing a little difficultly, however, it's getting very much better. We are still continuing to use the nebulizer as we feel is necessary, but not regularily anymore. He's done his Prednizone, but still has a couple days left of his antibiotic. He's essentially down to just an aggrevating cold. He's doing OK though. On the mend!

Joshua and Jacob are really looking forward to the New Year's Eve party tomorrow night that they have actually offered to help clean up the house. (The $10 we offered them is helping slightly as well...but you know how it goes! LOL) Our New Year's Eve party has kind of exploded into a very large party this year. We have Cathe, Sue, Karleen, Heather and Elaine's families all coming over this year. A much bigger crowd than we are really used to. The only good thing is that everyone has offered to either bring a dessert or an appetizer and I only have to provide the place and some punch, works for me! (Oh and I bought decorations and party hats and noise makers, couldn't resist!)

Well...Luke is crying and ready for bed, so I'd better go for now! I'll try to post an update soon!

Happy New Year! Have a great night!

Mom and Dad, can't wait to see your Pirate-y Party Pics! That costume rocks!

Love ya!

Happy Holidays From All Our Monsters!

Hello Everyone:

Well Luke's first Christmas was lovely. He really enjoyed watching the older two boys go crazy! He did take a very long nap during the morning, but all in all he had a great time. I think, even a few days later, there are still a couple presents under the tree for him. Oh well...in good time I'm sure he'll get to them! LOL

Anyway, it was a rocky Christmas just the same, because Luke ended up in the hospital ER on Wed, December 27th...kinda sucked! He's got RSV (which is essentially just a bad cold struck in baby's, like Pneumonia, but without it being a bacteria, it's a virus) He's fine now...thanks to Val and Cathe, we got him on some ventalin treatments and he's like a whole new baby again! He's really doing so much better. I was worried, but I no longer need to be, he's great! When it rains it poors man...Joshua has strep throat and Jakey has an ear and throat infection! Lovely, eh? Oh well....they all have meds in them now and we'll be just fine in a while I'm sure.

Now we have New Year's Eve to look forward to. Josh and Jake are really looking forward to having all their friends here for our "fall to sleep" over party! LOL

Have a very happy New Year's!
